North Korea is ruled by the Kim Dynasty and it has three members, the leader of the Dynasty is Kim Jong-un. He is the head of government, and the ruler of Korea and he uses threats of execution and Punishment to rule his country. He also forces labor and brings North Korea to be known as a country with lots of civil rights issues. He traps the people in North Korea by restricting travel out of the country and restricting communication with people outside of North Korea. Not only does he punish people, but the government is failing to protect the rights of multiple groups of people who are at risk; including women, children, and people with disabilities. North Korea ignores its human rights treaties and does not meet the requirements of the laws. Kim jong-un Was so strict on keeping people in North Korea He arrested people for Having communication with the outside world. There is so much gender inequality seen in North Korea, not only in rights but also in enforcing labor. North Korea still has forced labor and they think that most of the population is “state-owned”.  Women, children, and prisoners are in control of the government and they sustain the economy. they must participate in unpaid labor which is called the” portrayal of loyalty” in North Korea; Not only are they forced to participate in unpaid labor but they do not get to choose which job they are working on. The government assigns the jobs mostly to women, but some men are also forced to work, but it is very rare for them to get a salary. Since the government is ruled by fear, the people of North Korea are scared and are obligated to follow unfair laws. Some people also believe that the leader of North Korea is a “God” and a “supreme leader” so they follow him because they think that's what's best. I don't understand why Kim Jon-Un is still the leader of North Korea if he has brought so many issues to the country.  I think that this country is violating so many civil rights and they treat the citizens so poorly, that it is a very bad place to live in.
