Trumps race to finish the border wall

I chose to read about Trump’s attempt to finish the wall before his presidency ends. With only a few days left of being the president Trumps, the construction team is working overtime to complete the 550-mile task. The team has already built around 440 miles of the wall, but this seems like an impossible task with so little time. Many people have spoken up about their problems with the wall; they’ve spoken about the endangered species that may go extinct because of the wall or because trumps have been dynamiting mountains and canyons, causing massive boulders to plummet on nearby villages. Most of the problems have been irrupted because of the surrounding areas’ rich biodiversity; The 24/7 lighting could cause many species to evacuate the area.  This massive $15 billion project has indeed swept away natural beautiful wild regions, and local biologists say that the border area between Texas, Arizona, and Mexico are some of the last genuinely fantastic areas in North America. Luckily the presidential inauguration was in a few days, and Biden stated he would like to tear down the project.

On Biden's first day as president, he ordered the wall to be stopped, leaving Trump workers with a much-needed break.  Unfortunately, most of the wall was already built, so it would cost more money just to tear it all down. However, this is the best option for the environment and could save tons of species from extinction. The existing steel wall was built on questionable lands, like sides of mountains, canyons, in the forest, so it will be challenging to bring down. But President Biden has said that the workers can not build another foot of the wall. Most of the un-built wall is in South Texas, either winding around the Rio Grande trail or on private property.
