For my analysis, I'll be comparing the question "With what party do you most affiliate with" and "How much do you agree with a government-mandated vaccine." The amount of people who responded with the Democratic Party was 59.5%, while 19% responded Republican. With these being the most important groups, there was also 7.1% who responded Independent party. After seeing a much bigger group who responded Democratic, I thought that the results would turn out leaning towards one side. Turns out I was mostly right. 26.2% strongly agreed, 29.4% agreed (around 55.6% said yes), 18.3% disagreed, 12.7% strongly disagreed, and 13.5% neutral. After taking a look at the sheet, I found out that Democrats were almost all against the vaccine and even some Republicans chose the same. This question is one where I think that party affiliation has very little to do with what you choose. This question is also guided towards disagreeing because of the way we wrote it, "Government-Mandated" as in mandatory. most people believe that they should have the right to say yes or no to getting a vaccine, not even really knowing what's inside.
One thing we could have done better was to make it clear that the only people that were supposed to answer this survey were 18 years and older. Even the smallest percentage, such as 3%, could affect the way the votes turn out. I think the reason to this was that we didn't clarify well enough that it should've been 18yrs and older. One other thing that we could've done was take some more time to spread out the word and maybe have gotten it out farther than just our neighborhoods.
