A trend that was relevant many years ago and haven't died out really at all "Legos" when people where little like 3-6 they wouldn't really build the Lego set as much as they would build the Lego people then do something completely different with the other pieces .I chose to play with them that way till I was four then I started to build the sets how they were "supposed" to be built I remember at the time the set that was the thing was Lego Atlantis every kid had that pressure was a thing I guess you could say as in what you would buy but every one had their own passion for Legos there would be one set or thing that was what everyone wanted but that wouldn't be the majority of peoples collections. The reason that I think Legos never went extinct like other trends such as fidget spinners is because Legos them selves can leach off of other trends they can always stay with the new trends as they come in ways like if a new movie come out they can make sets on specific seine or part and it gets new and inventive each time where as other trendy things such as fidget spinners yes you could make a fidget spinner with a new different design but it is still the same spinning it on your finger you build Legos but something different each time and you can make your own thing completely different from the original design.

Arkansas' Anti-trans bill

  Isa Pedersen  Mr. Roddy  IHSS 9 April 2021 Arkansas’ Anti-trans bill  For centuries the trans community was discriminated against. But recently Arkansas passed a bill that highly affects trans rights and healthcare. The bill states that trans individuals are not allowed to get gender affirming surgeries. This included hormones such as testosterone and androgen, as well as puberty blockers. This is said to be one of the most detrimental bills passed against the trans community in ages. Not only this but some states have already passed bills that don't allow trans kids to take part in sports or competitions. These states include Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. Tennessee and Alabama are already starting to get the same bill passed. Texas is on the list that is assumed to follow Arkansas and pass the bill as well. Andy Walsh Mr. Roddy IHSS 6 April 2021 The Pandemic has Been Bad for Civil Rights  The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of challenges to today’s society. However, in Latin America it is an even bigger issue. Across all of Latin America, the health crisis has been accompanied by civic disruptions causing the lack of communication and justice in civic spaces. Widespread quarantines and lockdowns have put a lot of stress on the civic system of all countries. However, countries with high poverty and large homeless populations have had trouble enforcing rules related to COVID.
